Financial transparency

We publish verified amounts only. We clearly separate money received from sponsorship pledges and from amounts committed to projects, and every financial change is logged.

How we calculate and verify

The rules below are applied automatically by our record-keeping system. We publish them so you can check for yourself how we arrive at every figure.

  • What “verified” means

An amount is verified when the payment is confirmed by a signed notification from the payment processor, or when our treasurer has reconciled it against the bank statement or the donation platform's official report.

  • Pledges are not money received

Amounts promised under sponsorship agreements are shown separately and are not included in the total raised until the money actually arrives.

  • Committed, spent, available

“Committed” means money approved for a project under a signed agreement. “Spent” means payments made, with supporting documents. The available balance is the difference between amounts received and amounts spent.

  • Every payment, counted once

Each payment has a unique reference per channel, and the system automatically rejects duplicates. Payouts from payment processors or Bursa Binelui are never recorded a second time as bank transfers.

  • Lei and euros

The campaign goal is in euros. Amounts received in lei are converted at the reference rate published by the National Bank of Romania for the transaction date, and the rate used is stored with each entry.

  • Corrections and audit trail

Financial entries are never deleted. A mistake is corrected by voiding the entry with the reason recorded, and every change stays in the audit log with the date and the person who made it.

  • Donor privacy

We never publish donors' names or amounts linked to an identifiable person.
